The Manitoba Rett Syndrome Association is bringing together families, researchers, clinicians, industry partners, advocates and policymakers for An Evening of Bridging Care & Research – Rett Syndrome in Manitoba.
The evening will give parents, caregivers and grandparents a chance to hear about Rett syndrome research happening here in Manitoba, learn about current and emerging therapies, ask questions and connect directly with those working in Rett syndrome research and care. It will also give researchers and healthcare professionals the chance to meet Manitoba families and hear firsthand about their experiences and priorities.
Speakers
We’ll be joined by Dr. Mojgan Rastegar, Dr. Mubeen Rafay, Veeral Gohil of Acadia Pharmaceuticals, and Trish Guimond, President of the Manitoba Rett Syndrome Association.
The evening will be moderated by Andrew Retfalvi, Vice President, Health & Life Sciences at Global Public Affairs.
Dinner will be served.
Registration
There is no cost to attend, and dinner is included, but registration is required by October 16. LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE.
This is an invitation-only event with limited space. We ask families, where possible, to arrange care for their child or loved one with Rett syndrome so they can fully participate in the evening.
