Rett syndrome can be a complicated topic to breach, especially with younger children. To help explain Rett syndrome and to show what exceptional people that those living with Rett can be, we have developed the following resource in an effort to spread even more awareness about Rett syndrome within the school environment.

The short, animated video introduces Ally, a remarkable girl who lives with Rett. She is curious and intelligent; she just needs some extra help sometimes and communicates in her own special way.

This easy-to-understand video is intended for children from kindergarten to grade 8, or of any age, as a simple introduction to Rett syndrome. Please share this video with your community to spread awareness for Rett syndrome and to educate children who may encounter someone with Rett on how to have a positive interaction!
